According to the information center of National Elites Foundation, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, emphasized on the importance of using humanities capacities in creating technology-based and modern businesses in his visit of basij scientific center of growth and innovation, expressing: humanities has an important role in increasing the added value of a product, which flourishes in the form of technology-based business relying on innovative and creative youth.
Implementation of the concluded agreements was discussed in another part of the visit in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs and Hossein Ghadiani, head of scientific and research Basij of Iran.
The mentioned agreement will be followed up and implemented in four sections of “designing, establishment and implementation of development structures in fields of science and technology”, “joint programs in areas of promoting dialogue and development of technologies” and “use of capacities of scientific organization of basij in the area of knowledge-based projects”.
According to some parts of this agreement, some of the main purposes include the establishment of national and provincial innovation centers, incubators, counseling center for development of knowledge-based industry, basij research technology fund, as well as provision of counseling and evaluating services for eligibility of knowledge-based companies, especially for basijis.
Other programs which will be held in the future due to this agreement are holding joint science, culture and Jihadi camps, exhibitions and festivals to introduce the top knowledge-based projects and companies nationwide, designing and establishing media structures (virtual and non-virtual) and use of information tools for creating dialogue between knowledge-based businesses, especially the national media capacity.
In order to execute the articles of this agreement, a joint strategy committee will be established, member of which will be two representatives of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs (Mehdi Eliasi, deputy of policy and strategic assessment, and Parviz Karami, president of Headquarter of developing culture of science, technology, and knowledge-based economy) and two representatives of scientific organization of basij (Hossein Ghadiani, head of the organization, and Rasul Hadipour, responsible for planning organization).
This agreement was signed by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Hossein Ghadiani, head of the scientific organization of basij.
The vice president for science and technology affairs visited different sections of this incubator, including humanities and software, biotechnology, medicinal herbs and information and communication technology to benefit from the scientific capacities of universities and creating scientific content for the mentioned areas.
The medical biotechnology research center was another part of the center, which provides a wide range of findings in the form of a virtual research center for scientists and technologists of this area by collecting data in the field of biotechnology.
