Meeting of “Elite Ethics in the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha” Was Held

The second meeting from the series of “Elite Ethics in the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha” meetings was held in Tehran by the efforts of the national elites foundation.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, the second meeting from the series of “Elite Ethics in the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha” meetings was held in Tehran by the efforts of the national elites foundation in the presence of Aria Alasti, cultural deputy of the organization.

In this meeting, Ansari, lecturer of Hawza and universities and commentator of Nahj al-Balagha, provided a summary of properties and dimensions of humility and interpretation of Abdul Rahman and pointed out the features of selected humans in Al-Furqan Surah, stating: trained humans and those selected by God have no annoyance for their society and even tolerate the comments of ignorant people who annoy them.

In interpretation of the word “ignorant”, he pointed out the conflict between science and ignorance, adding: in the first five verses revealed to Muhammad the prophet, the main topics were science, and knowledge and lack of knowledge. Here, the meaning of science is a knowledge against ignorance.

Ansari continued: fundamentally, one of the most important causes of creation of man was the topic of “science”. When God explained about the creation of mankind, he also expressed the causes of this creation. In fact, the cause of creation precedes the principle of existence.

This commentator of Quran regarded one of the features of Abdolrahman to be tolerance, affirming: when the motivation of patience is the greatest type of incentives and comes from wisdom, it is called tolerance. However, sometimes mankind is forced to tolerate something, which is recognized as patience. Therefore, tolerance requires wisdom. The higher the human rationality, the more the person is humble.

It should be noted that the next meeting of the series of meetings of “Elite Ethics in the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha” will be held this January. In this regard, enthusiasts of the field can register for the event by referring to visitfarhangi.bmn.ir.
