The memorandum of understanding for scientific and technological cooperation was signed between Iran and Armenia

The memorandum of understanding for scientific and technological cooperation was signed between Iran and Armenia in the presence of the first vice president of Iran and prime minister of Armenia.

According to the information center of National Elites Foundation, during the travel of Karen Karapetyan, prime minister of Armenia, and official welcoming of Eshagh Jahangiri, the first vice president of Iran, in Sadabad Complex, three memorandums of understanding were signed in the scientific and technological areas of medicine and culture.

According to this report, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology, and Suren Karayan, minister of economic development and investments, signed the memorandum of understanding in the area of science and technology between Iran and Armenia.

In addition, a cooperation document in the area of medicine and animal hygiene was signed by Mahmoud Hojjati, minister of agriculture from Iran, and Ignati Arakelyan, minister of agriculture from Armenia.

Furthermore, the cooperation agreement regarding the exchange of culture and art was signed by Seyed Abbas Salehi, minister of culture and Islamic guidance from Iran, and Armen Amirian, minister of culture of Armenia.

According to this report, in the scientific and technological cooperation agreement of the two countries, both parties will support the scientific and technological cooperation of the other side and exchange between the related sections in various fields of nanotechnology. In addition, they will participate in various areas, including the facilitation of exchange of technology between institutes and companies of the two countries.

In the academic and education field, some of the scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries include the creation of educations and necessary infrastructures for educational and research laboratories. Regulating and providing the foundation for holding joint seminars, conferences and workshops and exchange of researchers in the nanotechnology area have also been considered in this memorandum of understanding.

 

Moreover, it has been decided that the two parties establish a joint cooperation committee to follow up the yearly scientific and technological cooperation programs.
