Iran energy minister urges expert-driven solutions to electricity imbalance
Iran’s Energy Minister, Abbas Ali-Abadi, has announced the development of a comprehensive plan to address the country’s electricity imbalance, leveraging the expertise of young professionals and top scientific talents.

Ali-Abadi, during a meeting with young experts from the water and electricity sectors, emphasized the importance of knowledge-driven solutions. “Knowledge is about discovering extraordinary truths within ordinary facts, but the key is applying that knowledge effectively. A scientist who does not use his knowledge wisely cannot be considered intelligent,” he stated.
He highlighted the government’s focus on national unity, referring to President Pezeshkian’s administration as a “Government of Consensus.”
Ali-Abadi underscored the significance of pooling national wealth and resources to solve critical infrastructure challenges.
Discussing the future of Iran’s energy sector, he stressed the need for strategic planning in agriculture, industry, and other key areas, considering water and energy constraints.
He also emphasized strengthening the collaboration between academia and industry, urging young professionals to embrace change and innovation for sustainable development.
The minister welcomed ideas from young specialists, experts, and women in the energy sector, encouraging their active participation in tackling industry challenges.
