Accelerators will help academic publications with signing the agreement on establishment of the academic electronic publication center (MANAD) in the strategic technologies development center.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, a cooperation agreement was signed in the strategic technologies development headquarter to establish an academic electronic publications center in order to enter technology into the field of production of scientific and academic content.

The path of cooperation of knowledge-based companies and accelerators to create technological changes in area of content production and creative industries related to academic education will be paved by signing the agreement.

According to the cooperation agreement between the Vice-Presidency and the ministry of information and communications technology, the first specialized accelerator of academic content production and publication will be formed. With an area of 1200 m², the center will be exploited with the help of Shahre Ketab Institution and will have a co-working space.

The increasing developing of co-working spaces and their position in the development of the innovation ecosystem have led to more attention to these spaces. The co-working space in Iran is rapidly expanding and provides a favorable and economical space for startups, accelerators and small and medium-sized companies with its facilities and structure to create, develop and commercialize new technologies.

According to the agreement, the operation of reconstruction and equipment of the center will be finalized in the next six months and concomitant with the Fajr Decade Occasion. In addition, the exploitation process will begin in the beginning of the new Persian year. While the Vice-Presidency will reconstruct and equip the center, the ministry of information technology and communication will provide technical and hardware infrastructures.
