Cooperation agreement was signed to create the national center of nuclear fusion and national laser center.
According to this report, some of the purposes of these two agreements include maximum harmonization and synergy of studies, projects, macro and non-macro projects and development of professional infrastructures of universities and research centers toward responding to scientific and industrial needs and specialized knowledge and technological requirements in the field of fusion and laser.
These agreements were signed at the location of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Farhadi, minster of science and technology, and Ali Akbar Salehi, vice president and head of nuclear energy organization of Iran. These two agreements are valid for five years.
