The national project of “supplementary insurance coverage for startup teams and freelancers” has been initiated for the members of innovation campuses or entrepreneurs. The project mainly focuses on the increase of insurance support for Iranian startups.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, several innovation centers have been developed in the country in the past years, which have provided work space for startup teams and idea owners in order to turn their creative ideas into products and services.

In this regard, providing supplementary insurance has been an area of focus for the innovation and technology network of Iran.

The supplementary insurance services can be used by all freelancers, startup teams, and members of innovation and technology campuses.

Startup teams and technology activists based in accelerators, shared workspaces, innovation centers, technology complexes, business clubs, districts and innovation areas, and other innovation ecosystem member centers can take advantage of the insurance benefits of this project.

Freelancers, startup teams, startups and technology groups based in these centers, which use the space and facilities of these environments, are also eligible to receive this new service package.
