According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, in the opening ceremony of the 11th international exhibition of advanced equipment, laboratory materials and testing, which was started this morning in the permanent location of Tehran International Exhibitions, stating that all over the world, testing equipment and materials are the infrastructure for the development of technologies and industry. science, technology and innovation of the country and has started a dynamic flow that until a few years ago, vital and needed laboratory devices were not available and many devices costing tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars located in universities and our research centers were out of the calibration or servicing cycle due to embargo, lack of access to parts or reference materials.

Dehghani stated: More than 362 companies have taken great steps during these years and produced various products that are now prominent at the national level.

Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, pointing to the serious attention given to the export market of knowledge-based companies, said: The export of knowledge-based companies was 600 million dollars in 2020 due to Corona, this number decreased to 300 million dollars, but in 2021, it reached 600 million dollars again. The dollar arrived and last year, knowledge-based companies exported 850 million dollars. Since the beginning of this year, the amount of export of knowledge-based companies has exceeded one and a half million dollars, and we hope that with this trend, this amount will reach 2.2 billion dollars by the end of this year, which is almost a threefold jump or a 200% growth compared to last year.

Referring to the serious policy of the 13th government to create opportunities and develop export markets by adopting active diplomacy of science and technology, Dehghani said: despite the New Year holidays, a high-level delegation of 14 people will attend this exhibition for agreements and interactions. The horizon ahead of this exhibition is development of export markets.
