According to the National Elites Foundation's information center, Hossein Afshin announced the start of supporting selected university AI assistant projects, reviewed by a specialized team, adding several universities will implement AI assistant projects for various ministries and governmental bodies. 

 

The initiative to develop AI assistants for each ministry aims to promote the use of AI technology across different fields, including governance. This initiative is seen as the beginning of a movement to support, develop, and harness AI technology's capabilities. 

 

Stressing the rapid progress of technology, particularly AI, and the importance of not falling behind, Afshin emphasized the AI assistant initiative is part of Iran's efforts to position itself as a key player in the international arena. 

 

He also highlighted the support provided for research by the National Science Foundation of Iran, ensuring transparency, swift evaluation, and effective advancement of research and technological ideas.
