During the ceremony, a letter of appreciation was bestowed on Professor Nahid Pourreza by Deputy Head of the National Elite Foundation Saeed Khodaygan.
The letter reads: "Undoubtedly, teachers and university professors play a crucial and irreplaceable role in the sustainable growth and development of any country. If the education of students is combined with love and enthusiasm, the result will be the nurturing of distinguished, committed, and successful students. Therefore, it is fitting to acknowledge and appreciate efforts made by you as a Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz chemistry professor who, while continuously teaching at the university, is among the top 2% of scientists in the world and has authored valuable books and articles that have been effective in the scientific growth of Iran. Some of these years coincided with the imposed war, and you, in the brave province of Khuzestan, not only preserved the stronghold of science but also endured the hardships of the war. I hereby appreciate these tireless efforts and, while presenting this letter of appreciation from the National Elite Foundation, I pray to God for your continued health and success.”
