Winners of 38th Kharazmi Festival to be honored by Iranian president
The 38th Kharazmi International Festival and the 26th Youth Kharazmi Festival, celebrating groundbreaking innovations by researchers and young scientists, will conclude on Sunday with an awards ceremony to be attended by Iran’s President Massoud Pezeshkian, the National Elites Foundation’s Information Center reported.

Alireza Ashouri, Secretary of the Festivals, stated that over 500 projects were submitted to the international festival, with 9 reaching the finals after rigorous evaluation. Similarly, 300 projects were submitted to the youth festival, with 9 final winners selected.
The winning projects span innovation, technology, and practical applications, with notable participation from women; two in the international category and four in the youth category.
Winners will receive cash prizes, with top international projects to be awarded 500, 400, and 300 million tomans, and youth winners to receive 400, 300, and 250 million tomans.
Additional support includes workshop spaces in science parks and financial aid from the Innovation and Prosperity Fund to help finalists implement their projects.
This year’s festival saw participation from 30 countries, with one winning project by an Iranian abroad.
Ashouri expressed hope that these innovations will drive significant technological progress in Iran.
