Iranian president emphasizes role of elites in overcoming national challenges
Iran’s President Massoud Pezeshkian has shed light on the critical role of the country’s elites and scientists in addressing national challenges, stressing that leveraging the expertise of scholars and dedicated individuals is essential for Iran’s progress.
According to the National Elites Foundation's information center, President Pezeshkian made the remarks during his speech at the 30th Razi Medical Sciences Research and Technology Festival.
The president also addressed external pressures on Iran, reiterating the nation’s commitment to peace and stability.
President Pezeshkian criticized Western claims of upholding human rights, pointing to the displacement and killing of tens of thousands of women and children in conflict zones including Gaza.
“It is the height of injustice to accuse us of human rights violations while such atrocities are committed elsewhere,” he added.
The president underscored the importance of unity and internal cohesion in strengthening the nation.
He also highlighted past successes in scientific and technological advancements, crediting collaboration with academic institutions.
“We have achieved significant milestones in both hardware and software development through the support of our university faculties,” he affirmed.
