Iranian minister: Sustainable development relies on continuous interaction among elites, knowledge-based companies, policymakers
Iran’s minister of roads and urban development emphasized that sustainable development and progress in the construction industry rely on innovation and continuous interaction among elites, knowledge-based companies, and policymakers, the National Elites Foundation's information center reported.

Speaking at the Building Industry Elites Conference, Farzaneh Sadegh highlighted that elites are invaluable assets to the country and that the synergy of knowledge and experience, and the integration of innovation with industry, are key to Iran's development.
She said the ministry of roads and urban development is committed to ensuring that knowledge-based entities play a major role in the construction sector.
Sadegh pointed out the challenges faced by the construction industry, such as high energy consumption, low efficiency, traditional technologies, and lack of unified regulations, but also emphasized the opportunities for transformation.
Digitalization of national building regulations is a priority to streamline project implementation and foster the use of modern technologies, she explained.
Sadegh expressed hope that the conference would mark a milestone for practical cooperation among elites, knowledge-based companies, and the ministry, paving the way for a smarter, more sustainable, and advanced future for Iran's construction industry.
