Some statistics presented on level of emigration of Iranian elites to other countries are not valid, and most of these individuals return to the country after graduation and due to the formation of the ecosystem of technology and innovation.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, quoted by ISNA, some time ago, a report was quoted by the Deputy Minister of Education of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education on the situation of Iran's brain drain and the number of students leaving the country annually, which is false and defective.

Given the high importance of this topic, various studies have been carried out in this regard, which show different numbers, and the result of some international studies may be biased.

In addition, an interesting point of this announcement is that only 10% of students in the fields of medicine sciences study abroad every year, and similar situations have been observed in other fields with a slight difference.

However, this does not mean that the educated have emigrated from the country, and many return to the country during or after graduation. In studies or writing of scientific texts and news, the numbers of overseas students applying for education have also been calculated in the context of the migration of educated people and such high statistics are announced for brain drain.

In this regard, the official offices of the country, such as the national elites foundation, are more appropriate references to achieve more accurate statistics in this field.
