The Iranian experts and technologists have gone far from science production and have entered the stage of production of prototypes and advanced aerial pieces. This has laid the foundation for presence of Iranian knowledge-based companies in international events.

The knowledge-based companies have provided a considerable part of important needs of the society and industries for some time now. Reports are indicative of abilities of Iran in the field of advanced technologies, one of the most important of which is the aerial industry.

“BRA aerospace engineering Co.” is one of these companies that has been able to produce advanced software and equipment in the field by localizing the technical knowledge.

“Our country produces a wide range of advanced airplane pieces, from electro avionics to engine, with the help of knowledge-based companies. These products are difficult to produce and require specific technologies. Nevertheless, they are indicative of the technological ability of the country, which is interesting to regional countries. As such, it is attempted to showcase the Iranian-made achievements of the field in different regional, continental and global exhibitions.”

Reza Aslani, the CEO of the aforementioned company, considered this issue as the foundation laid for start of activities in a new way. In this context, he marked: since 2015, effective steps have been taken in important aerospace industry events. The foundation is laid for presence of Iran in international aerospace industry events with the cooperation of domestic knowledge-based companies. In this regard, he continued: in addition to producing engineering products, we have laid the foundation for attending international events. Fortunately, these abilities have been considerably welcomed and have led to conclusion of contracts with domestic companies.

The High Quality of Iranian Products Lays the Foundation for International Events

"Often, being unfamiliar with the capabilities of local knowledge-based companies and the low prices of Iranian-made products creates doubts about the quality and efficiency of these products. There is a perception that the product does not have the intrinsic quality due to being offered at this price; meanwhile, Iranian knowledge-based products might even have higher quality, compared to their imported counterparts.”

Pointing out this issue, Aslani talked about the potential of presenting the products of knowledge-based companies in the aerospace exhibition in India, adding: held every two years, the event will be held in March in Hyderabad, India and will host capable companies in the field of aerospace. The exhibition is the most important Asian event in the industry and a good opportunity for domestic knowledge-based companies to interact with global, especially Asian, activists of the field. This activist of the aerospace field hopes that at least 10 knowledge-based companies be able to present their products and abilities in the exhibition.

The Member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Aerospace and Aerospace Industries Union announced the membership of 270 companies in the union, adding that about 100 members all knowledge-based and there are a total of 10000 occupations in these companies.

Aslani also marked the importance of culture-building and introducing high-quality products of country to applicants, asserting: the major need for knowledge-based companies today is for industry owners and managers to believe that Iranian knowledge-based products are efficient and of consistent quality. Still, despite many valuable achievements in the industry, there are managers who prefer foreign names and brands to internationally-produced knowledge-based products.
