According to the information center of national elites foundation, the advanced Iranian-made training jet of “Yasin”, equipped with a national engine (Oj), was presented and flew in Shahid Nojhe Base in Hamedan in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Amir Hatami, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General, Air Force Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, Hojatoleslam Aghajanpour, head of ministry of defense political ideology, the CEO of ministry of defense air industry organization, and a number of national and army commanders and officials.
Sattari: Knowledge-based companies play an important role in the design and construction of Yasin advanced jet.
Sattari pointed out that the most important feature of the project is its design and construction by aerial industries, asserting: one of the problems in the aerial forces is the topic of education of pilots of jets, which is eliminated by constructing this advanced educational jet.
Sattari mentioned the highlighted role of knowledge-based companies in the design and construction of this advanced training jet, declaring: this need has been created with a domestic move, and many knowledge-based companies in the avionic field have played an important role in construction of the engine, body and main parts of the jet.

According to the public relations headquarter of the ministry of defense, Amir Hatami mentioned that “Yasin” jet not only has a scientific and technological strategic nature, but also affects the national power of the country. In this regard, he added: this success is the glorious and proud symbol of the failure to lift the sanctions will reflect a very clear message to the arrogance system.
“Yasin” advanced training jet is twelve meters long, 4 meters high and five and a half tons of cargo weight in operational take-off conditions and can fly up to twelve kilometers.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the few aviation technology holders to design and build this advanced jet aircraft and is ready to share this capability with other countries.
