10 Technological Iranian-made Products Are Unveiled

The seventh round of Iran Lab Expo (Iran Sakht) was initiated along with the week of research and technology in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs.

The seventh round of Iran Lab Expo (Iran Sakht) was initiated along with the week of research and technology in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs.


According to the information center of national elites foundation,The presence of more than 350 knowledge-based companies, which attended the event to showcase their knowledge-based products, shows the booming of productions. This exhibition showcases the abilities of the youth in the field of construction of advanced materials.


Sattari considered the exhibition a big move toward changing the oil-based economy, asserting: the innovation and technology ecosystem formed in the country involves various players. More than six thousand startups and 4600 knowledge-based companies are currently active in this field.


Sattari added: the field of education must train a generation to solve people's problems. We have invested more in education than ever before. Fortunately, the orientation of the universities in this area has changed a lot and some taboos have been broken. Changing an ecosystem is a tough thing, but it has begun in our country, and academics are part of this phenomenon.

The president of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter considered research a result of activity of the private sector, adding: the government should only provide the infrastructure in this area, and the private sector should act.


The president of the national elites foundation pointed out the successful models for realization of the innovation ecosystem, expressing: the exhibition is a successful example of these models. Today, we observe the presentation of advanced equipment, some of which are costs more than 10 billion Tomans. If we go back to six years ago, this might had not been happened. However, the generation of creative youth and entrepreneurs have proven their ability.


According to this report, 350 knowledge-based companies will present their products. More than nine thousand models of knowledge-based companies will be presented at the seventh exhibition of Iran Lab Expo.


Oil & petrochemical, electrical, electronics & software, civil engineering, mechanics, chemistry & metallurgy, agriculture & environment, basic physics, general laboratory equipment, laboratory materials, medical & biomedical engineering, industrial testing, testing equipment & calibration services are the areas of the event.


In addition, 10 knowledge-based products have been designed and constructed with the support of the Vice-Presidency and will be unveiled on the exhibition.

A number of knowledge-based companies produced in the country for the first time were unveiled in the exhibition of top knowledge-based companies and startups (Iran Sakht) at Imam Khomeini Hussainia this October and were visited by the Supreme Leader. 


The transmission electron microscope had a magnification of up to 1 million times, a ship's bridge simulator, a bio-printer (3D printer), a cubic satellite simulator, and a cancer margin detection are the products unveiled at the fair.

Scanning electron microscope device for use in educational functions, absorption-transmission spectroscopy microscopy for precise material analysis, as well as a micromanipulator tool for performing injecting or precision mounting operations on specimen surface-mounted specimens with a sophisticated method are among other tools unveiled.


In the end, the vice president for science and technology affairs, accompanied by the minister of science, research and technology, visited the achievements presented in Khalij Fars Hall.
