The deprivation of less-privileged areas will be eliminated at a faster pace with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency and Alavi Foundation using the capacity of knowledge-based companies.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, different villages and regions in the country often have special capacities that can be used to develop knowledge-based activities. The move will provide these companies with a new opportunity to help them create jobs and self-sufficiency in these areas.

In this regard, in order to eliminate deprivation from less-privileged regions by creating jobs for low-income families through developing home jobs and small businesses, a joint cooperation was initiated between water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter and Alavi Foundation.

In a meeting held for the same purpose, a number of knowledge-based companies working in the field of small-scale greenhouses and home aquaculture ponds presented their programs, and the representatives of the ministry of agriculture and institute of agricultural engineering and engineering research evaluated the plans as the custodian of units working in these fields.

Important Role of Knowledge-based Companies in Decrease of Cost of Projects

Nader Gholi Ebrahimi, the secretary of the water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter, pointed out the role of knowledge-based companies in decrease of cost of projects and increase of productivity through using technology, adding: we can use the capacity of all companies without limitations.

In the next stage, companies will make executive proposals based on the capacities, limitations and differences in each covered region covered by Alavi Foundation. Ultimately, if approved by the Joint Staff and Foundation Working Group and after the contract is concluded, the approved plans will be implemented. The primary target of projects is implementing 80 pilots in eight less-privileged regions covered by Alavi Foundation.
