A 1148-ton platform made in Iran was installed in Salman field with the use of domestic power in Khoramshahr and in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, the 1S well platform of Salman field was installed in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs during his travel to Khuzestan. The installation and loading of this platform with the domesticized power of Iranian experts inside the country led to the start of its shipping for installation at Salman field in the next 15 days and increased oil production in this joint field.

In the platform, the field's oil production capacity will increase to about 6,000-6,500 barrels per day by utilizing the gas refining method. The platform is fully Iranian and its components are provided by local manufacturers. The platform has a weight of 1,700 tons, which is fixed at a depth of four meters in the seabed, utilizing the most up-to-date technologies to handle oil loading.

Process equipment such as production, test and gas pipelines, intelligent control systems, gas injection packages and chemicals to protect submarine pipelines, surface equipment, electricity are among the equipment.

Visiting Arvand Technological Achievements  

The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the companies based on Arvand Free Zone and talked to activists based on the region.

Petro Sanat Parsian Khazar Co., producer of industrial filters, Ertebatat Arvand Gouya, producer of smart phones, Kardan Azma, producer of lab cultures, and Foulad Kave Arvand, producer of steel producers, presented their achievements.

Sattari also visited the academic achievements of units at the growth center of Khoramshahr Marine Technology Units and talked to the academics based in the center.

According to the report, the second phase of Takhte Jamshid Petrochemical Co. with a capacity of 100,000 tons of production was opened during the one-day trip of Sattari to Mahshahr. In addition, a contract was concluded for domestic production of 10 petrochemical catalysts with the help of domestic knowledge-based companies.
