During the trip to Mazandaran
Dehghani's visit to simulators of engine room and ship navigation made by Iranian researchers
Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy arrived in Mazandaran province and unveiled the ship's engine room and navigation simulation systems.
According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, accompanied by a group of deputies and managers in the vice presidency of science, entered Mazandaran province.
Dehghani entered Mazandaran province this morning with the aim of opening and visiting growth and innovation centers and knowledge-based units, and was welcomed by the governor and a group of local officials.
Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy visited Imam Khomeini University of Marine Sciences (RA) in Nowshahr and visited the ship's engine room and navigation simulator systems. Engine room simulator provides the ability to simulate different types of ship propulsion systems and auxiliary machines related to diesel engines, gas turbines, steam turbines and electric motors.
One of the best features of this virtual reality simulator is that it can be connected to the ship's bridge simulator (deck simulator), which can be used to run advanced group management courses. Also, by using this simulator, all chapters of ship mechanics and ship electronics, operation management in emergency situations, types of fire in the engine room, how to extinguish it, and various scenarios and bug fixes can be taught and practiced.
The ability to take tests and evaluations to verify the competence of students completely electronically is one of the special features of this simulator.
The design and localization of this simulator was conducted for the first time in Iran by Sorin Tabarestan knowledge-based company and until now no educational center in Iran has been equipped with a motor house simulator system.
The field of activity in this company is the localization, construction and production of marine simulators, which aims to improve the knowledge and expertise of active human resources in the defense and commercial fields by removing dependence on non-native models. Among the products of this knowledge-based company, which were unveiled and visited, we can mention the project of ship control bridge simulator, ship engine room simulator, positioning simulator, tug boat simulator and other maritime simulators.
The command bridge simulator is one of the most important products of this knowledge-based company, with the ability to design complex scenarios, provide the most important ports and vessels, and access to all command bridge modules, it can perform operations related to ship maneuvering, guidance and navigation in different atmospheric and environmental conditions by providing images 210 to 360 degrees for the main bridge simulation. There is also the ability to add bridges of sub-vessels up to a maximum of 10 bridges to the scenario, which are used for commercial and military purposes. This simulator is known in the world as FULL MISSION SHIP SIMULATOR, and working with this simulator is one of the requirements to receive international certificates, including IMO.
In another part of this trip, he will open the Nowshahr Growth and Innovation Center.
Inauguration of Babolsar Innovation Center, visit to Mazi Noor Lighting Industries, visit to Chiken Line Farm and opening of Arian Chicken Line Innovation Farms are among the other travel plans by the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy to Mazandaran province.
