Dehghani:
Encouraging companies to future technologies with the "Next" National Technology Award / "Next" attention to transformative technologies
The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy said: "Next" national award encourages and supports large companies to pay attention to advanced technologies and plan for a technological future with an encouraging and promotional approach.
According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the press conference of the "Next" National Award was held with the presence of Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Shaghayegh Hagh Jooy Javanmard, the Deputy for Strategic Technologies Development headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science and a group of media people.
In this meeting, while congratulating Pharmacists' Day and congratulating the knowledge-based and technological companies that operate in the field of medicine, Dehghani said: Undoubtedly, one of the country's prides are the specialists and technologists of knowledge-based companies that have a deep and wide impact, but their presence has been felt less and less attention has been paid to their role and effectiveness in the security of health and authority of the country.
The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy stated: In recent years, knowledge-based companies have made the conditions favorable and created the atmosphere in such a way that the weight of the shadow of sanctions is not felt so much and we do not have much problem in the country in terms of drug supply, despite all the challenges. This is something to be congratulated on.
Dehghani also thanked the media for promoting and making the society aware of the technological capabilities and good news of the technology and innovation ecosystem, and said: I express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the reporters and media, who are diligent in promoting and publishing good news and hopeful that people in the field of science, technology and knowledge-based economy are trying and this effort will be appreciated by Almighty God.
The head of the National Elites Foundation stated that matching the support with companies and technological activities is one of the priority approaches in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, and continued: In the Vice Presidency of Science, creating a balance and proportion of support is followed as a serious priority. The evaluation system and the support of financing and investment in various forms, agreements and national awards and other support, all have a specific and focused goal, which is to balance and adjust the support for companies and technological activities.
According to him, these supports are divided based on two dimensions and size and time approaches. By dividing knowledge-based companies into three categories of new knowledge-based, technology-based and innovative knowledge-based, the support has been structured according to the size and performance of the companies. Also, with the time approach for allocating support, a group of support is provided based on the past needs and requirements of a company and solves those issues that companies have been involved with in the past, the next support approach is based on the present time and the current situation. companies; But a group of issues that we should not ignore, and a major part of the support by the Vice Presidency of Science is allocated to this issue, is the future of companies. If the future of knowledge-based companies and their future plans are not taken into account, the future will definitely not judge us positively, and what we sow today, we will reap in the future.
Referring to the approach of creating sustainable growth and development, moving in step with modern technological advances and future-oriented development as a significant part of the fundamental philosophy of the support of the Vice Presidency of Science, Dehghani said: Today we are witnessing the fruition of the efforts made during the last one to three decades with an approach that they were concerned about the future, and in order for future generations to witness the fruition of our efforts today, we must step in the right direction today. A country that wants to move forward, have a plan for its people and achieve success in the path of technology should have a plan for innovation and taking bold steps today with a forward-looking and risky approach.
The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy considered the event of the National Innovation Award for Leading Development Entrepreneurs to be a step-in line with this forward-looking approach and added: "The Next" national award event encourages leading companies, both knowledge-based and non-knowledge-based, to adopt an ambitious approach and serious look at future plans that encourages leading companies to think and plan for the future. With significant amounts and incentives, this award encourages researchers and companies to pay attention to the future direction and the following years.
Dehghani hoped that the audience of this national award will receive the message of this event and witness a good participation and reception because the more companies participate in this event, the more effective this event will be, the more technological variety it will reach its goal. I hope that in this award, like the Mustafa (PBUH) award, which is focused on the ability of scientists, this time we will take an effective step in the field of technology development and promotion.
The National Award "Next" has the keyword "Innovation of leading development entrepreneurs" which the vice presidency of science, technology and knowledge-based economy has put on his agenda to help develop strategic technologies in the country and the first round of it will be held in December this year.
