The vice president for science and technology affairs met with young and technological activists of a Jihadi Imam Reza Organization that conducts startup activities in the field of rural development and elimination of deprivation by forming the foundation for support of marginalized and in-need people.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, met with young and technological activists of a Jihadi Imam Reza Organization. The center works with an innovative and startup approach to eliminate deprivation and contribute the boom of the rural economy with the help of startups and accelerators of innovation. Saye Startup is a startup infrastructure for networking and interactions of donors in order to recognize and help the elimination of deprivations with the goal of connecting the power of empowered to the needs of those in need.

 “Roostop” is another startup platform with the capacity of selling products and achievements produced by villagers. It launches a digital sales platform for these products domestically and internationally. The startup sells products that do not become corrupt in a long period with potential for mass sales, with average sales of 50 tons per week.

In addition, PTNET has created a capacity to present rural products to international markets. This market measurement platform provides the opportunity for rural products to enter these markets by helping products to meet supply and production standards and interacting with international markets. The formation of a freight forwarding network by establishing “Bordbar” startup is another network that uses the existing capacities of transportation by land, rail and air to facilitate the transportation process.

A Startup with the Ability of Smart Advertisement

The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the work office of “Tapsell” and met with the activists of the center.

Sattari talked to the head of Iran Drug Control Headquarters about cooperation on scientific discovery of narcotics using the abilities of domestic knowledge-based companies.

In another part of the meeting, the foundation was laid for cooperation of laboratories of drug control headquarter and the strategic technologies laboratory network of the Vice-Presidency.

During the visit, Sattari pointed out the ability of startups and knowledge-based companies to provide the most advanced technologies to discover and detect narcotics, stating: we will support the innovation and technology of knowledge-based companies in discovering and detecting narcotics.

Along with the day of student, the innovation region in the veterinary and biomedical field will be formed

During the visit, Sattari marked: the ecosystem formed in biotechnology and human medicines and which has left the Pharmacy graduates in the country should also be formed in the field of animal-based knowledge products.

Pointing out the effectiveness of support of the private sector investment and activity in the innovation ecosystem in supply of advanced Iranian-made products in the drug field, Sattari added: this February, the first enzyme factory will be opened as the producer of one of the most strategic livestock needs. In addition, the first Iranian-made vaccine will be presented this year, and four other vaccines will be presented to the market next year.

Sattari also mentioned the importance of forming an ecosystem similar to biotechnology ecosystem in the field of livestock, poultry and aquatic animals.

In addition, he declared: the poultry production line is a good example of technology dependence in the field, with dependencies of all parts of the chicken breed to probiotics and antibiotics. This extraordinary market must be reached by knowledge-based companies since the most important motivation for these young students is to have a business that has a bright future, and in this area, we are ready to work together with the University of Tehran to provide the necessary support for this sector to flourish.
