However, today, this technology and innovation ecosystem has taken its place in the country and introduced itself to society and has been able to showcase its power in this ecosystem.
The advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs continued: if the society was familiarized with the components of technology and innovation ecosystem at the level of universities, technology parks and growth centers four years ago, good players have been added to the field and have played a role in society, including CVs, innovation funds, innovation centers, accelerators, and innovation factories and have established their position well and have shown their potential to the community.
Karami pointed out the existence of five thousand knowledge-based companies in the country, asserting: these companies have been able to properly show their abilities along with six thousand active startups in various fields of advanced technologies.
He continued: large companies and structures were formed in the country before the Islamic Revolution, which may have failed to produce two or three more vaccines during these years. However, in recent years, knowledge-based companies have been formed and have been able to produce different vaccines in the human, animal and poultry fields.
The secretary of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter mentioned: all of these Iranian manufactured drugs have received standard manufacturing and approval from domestic and even international centers. The platform can also be formed with the presence of 800 knowledge-based companies in the field of automotive industry and auto parts, and contribute to the national production process and self-sufficiency.

Meanwhile, the bank has published no such report and the global bank has no responsibility to provide a report on emigration. This misconception was spread by a person named Abbas Milani and has been cited several times in the social media.
Karami continued: Iran was never ranked below 20 in this area. Unfortunately, this has sometimes been mistakenly and largely false about our country and it has been pretended that our country is at the top of countries where its elites want to migrate abroad.

Unfortunately, we are weak in sending students to other countries in this area. Iranian students once constituted the largest student colony in the United States. The number of Iranian students is the lowest among international students and Iran is lower than Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Korea.
