The role of knowledge-based companies in preventing crime, dealing with corruption, transparency and preventing goods smuggling is crucial.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, a meeting was held on “role of knowledge-based companies and startups in judicial transformation” in the presence of Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Chief Justice of Judicial system of Iran, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Ali Vahdat, head of Iran national science fund, and a number of knowledge-based and startup activists.

Raisi pointed out that the role of knowledge-based economy is known by all people, expressing: knowledge-based companies play a progressive role in the economy of resistance and meeting the needs of these corporations in terms of legal and economic affairs, work field and activity is crucial. While steps have been taken in this area, more measures must be taken to accelerate the pace of activities.

In addition, the issues related to the legal sector will be determined and tasks related to the judicial system will be dealt with by issuing suitable instructions.

He continued: we believe that knowledge-based companies must be supported. It is our duty to do so since the Supreme Leader has repeatedly emphasized the importance of attention to knowledge-based companies. This attention is practical and not in the form of a speech or regulation. It must actually happen in the legal field, and it must be our duty to support the national production market and creation of value added by these companies.

The Chief Justice of Judicial system of Iran continued: this cooperation is between knowledge-based companies, the Vice-Presidency and active sections in the field and information technology center.
