According to the information center of national elites foundation,
Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, talked
about Karyabi startup and holding of recruitment tests by Fanavard private
company, expressing: this job-finding test is implemented by one of the
successful startups of the country.
He pointed out the holding of the first
round of Fanavard Competitions in the previous year, announcing the holding of
the next round of the competition in May 2018.
Head of the knowledge-based economy,
technology and science development headquarter emphasized the facilitating and
guiding role of the government in creating the necessary infrastructures for
this field, affirming: this type of event is held by the private sector and
contractor companies to attract private forces. In addition, the test is held
by a private company and in a completely private environment.
Pointing out the uniqueness of this event,
Sattari continued: we hope that such events will be developed in the future. In
addition, we have many companies in the startups and knowledge-based areas that
are active in marketing field. however, greater level of innovation and
creativity will lead to more success in this field.
He marked: fortunately, many concepts of
the entrepreneurship area are developed in the private sector, and concepts
such as knowledge-based economy, which is significantly emphasized by the
headquarter, will achieve favorable results.
The vice president for science and
technology affairs pointed out the great number of markets that must be entered
by startups, adding: we have aimed to develop the areas of health, food (e.g., healthy
and fresh food), and wastes to create a proper entrepreneurship ecosystem for
creative individuals, startups and knowledge-based companies.
He emphasized that the Vice-Presidency is
not responsible for occupation and is only making efforts to support startups
and companies that are active in this field. In this regard, he continued: it
is important to create an ecosystem for startups and knowledge-based companies
to expand their activities.
According to Sattari, the Vice-Presidency did
not financially support the event and only provided spiritual supports and
acted as a facilitator, so that startups could perform their activities in a
proper environment and attract investors for their projects.
At the end, he mentioned: the Iranian knowledge-based
companies and startups have realized a localized ecosystem, which is greatly
welcomed by the people. Meanwhile, there are many startups with new ideas which
have no foreign counterparts, similar to what we witnessed today.
