President Pezeshkian highlighted universities’ role in societal growth and problem-solving and stressed that the primary duty of universities, professors, students, and academic elites is to provide solutions for fundamental problems and address various imbalances in the country

 

.He stated that solutions should be based on scientific evidence rather than partisan, religious, or ethnic criteria. He reiterated his government's openness to cooperation with individuals who have the necessary resolve and scientific approaches to solve issues

 

.The president also emphasized the importance of honoring and supporting motivated and capable university professors and elites

 

.He expressed hope that universities would nurture students who aim to contribute to the country's development rather than seeking opportunities abroad
