Opening several innovation centers in Sharif Innovation Zone is another good news for the activists of the innovation and technology ecosystem. The center has been opened to boost technological activities in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Abdolali Ali Asgari, the head of IRIB.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, visited Sharif Innovation Zone and the companies based in the park along with Ali Asgari, the head of IRIB. Several innovation centers were opened during the ceremony. 

Satra Media Center and Echtotech accelerator were opened during the ceremony to witness the boom of technological activities. Echtotech is a drug and food accelerator established to create more correlation between universities and the industry.

During the ceremony, Sattari affirmed: today, the development of the innovation and technology ecosystem is the goal of all areas, including the government, universities, the assembly and even the municipality.

Sattari added: creating synergy to build the culture of knowledge-based economy and develop the innovation and technology ecosystem is the most important achievement of the Vice-Presidency in the past few years.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter stated: establishing Sharif Innovation Zone near Sharif University plays an effective role in the development of the innovation and technology ecosystem with the help of the scientific belongings of the country.

Pointing out the establishment of Sharif Innovation Zone, Sattari marked: 500 companies are based in the science and technology park of Sharif University, and 250 hectares have been developed. All of the Tehran is a smart city and an innovation park and all knowledge-based ideas must be exploited to make developments.

According to the report, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Ali Asgari, the head of IRIB opened Shahid Soleimani Building and visited companies based in the center.

In addition, Echtotech innovation center was also opened in the presence of Sattari. Other parts of the program included visiting Sharif Innovation Zone and Dorsa Pharma Accelerator in an area of 500 m².

Field visiting of the developmental phase of Sharif Innovation Station and Resana, Soroosh and PersisGen accelerators was another part of this one-day program.

In addition, “Echtotech Accelerator and Innovation Center” was opened.
