During his trip to Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Sattari regarded the human resources and academic environments as the most important belongings of the region, which improves the innovation and technology ecosystem.

During his one-day trip to Sistan and Baluchestan Province, the vice president for science and technology affairs opened several technological projects, such as the creative house.

During the opening ceremony, Sattari stated: I have always appreciated coming to Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Since a few years ago, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs has initiated its strategic programs to develop the innovation and technology ecosystem in the province. Our effort is to inform all decision makers and economic activists in the country about the unique potential of this province.

Sattari added: technological and startup activities have emerged from cities of Iranshahr, Saravaran, Zabol, Zahedan and Chabahar.

Nevertheless, cooperation of local organizations is a necessary pre-requisite for occupation development. The cooperation made between the cultural heritage organization and Zahedan science and technology park was a successful example of inter-organizational collaborations. Together, the two institutions turned an old house into a center for the growth and development of handicrafts in the province.

The vice president for science and technology affairs also mentioned: attempts have been made to repeat this successful model many times and to be able to use the capacity of handicrafts in the province to create jobs based on innovation. Currently, some creative companies in the province have been able to export their handicrafts.

In addition to emphasizing the adoption of an innovative approach in the handicrafts field, he marked: although handicrafts are derived from the ancient customs of this region, we must use new methods of marketing and attracting customers to other parts of the country and the world.

Entrance of the science and technology park into areas such as handicrafts means the entrance of technology into these fields. With the agreements made, tens of thousands of meters will be added to the province's science and technology park.

He added: one of the great advantages of Sistan and Baluchestan province is the good number of universities in this province.
