According to the information center of national elites foundation, the introduction meeting of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan Project was held in the presence of the vice president for the national elites foundation and a number of authorities and faculty members in Shiraz University, University of Medical Sciences, and industrial university of Shiraz.
During the meeting, Mahmoud Saadat Foumani, the vice president for the national elites foundation, pointed out the definitions of “top talent”, “elite” and “Saramad”, expressing: the national elites foundation is responsible for discovering top talents and laying the foundation for empowering them on the elite route and reaching the optimal effectiveness stage.
He continued: recognition and guiding the top talents are among the most important missions of the national elites foundation in the student field. However, attempts are made to provide a proper situation for students to learn skills in their entrepreneurial field.
Saadat Foumani also marked: by forming an elite core, the necessary conditions are created to establish continuous relations between professors and students. This method has always been emphasized by the Supreme Leader and is a step toward the realization of an entrepreneurial university.
The vice president for science and technology affairs added: Training, education, and development of students in the context of solving a real project under the supervision of experts, creating a network of talented and interconnected talents and ultimately empowering and guiding them to solve the country's strategic problems are among the most important goals of Shahid Ahmad Roshan Project.
Pointing out the features of the existing professors in the project, he asserted: some professors are selected as responsible cores with features of commitment, student training experience, and a good background in the field of strategic projects.
In the beginning of the meeting, Habib Sharif, head of the elites foundation of Fars Province, pointed out the quantitative development of universities in the country, declaring: currently, there are 2700 higher education institutions and universities, 213 of which are active in Fars Province.
He continued: most of these universities are first generation and just education-oriented, and there are a small number of second-generation universities. In addition, there is no third-generation universities in the country to train entrepreneurial students. However, some universities have taken steps on this path.
The president of the elites foundation of Farsi pointed out that Shahid Ahmadi Roshan Project is held to use the ability of students in the form of cooperation with supervisors regarding an actual problem in the country. In this regard, he continued: the project is a step toward the formation of third-generation universities.
