According to the information center of national elites foundation, a briefing on support of problem-oriented student cores (Shahid Ahmadi Roshan Project) was held in the presence of Mahmoud Saadat Foumani, the vice president for science and technology affairs, deputies of universities in Khuzestan Province, research managers of executive organizations and faculty members of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.
During the meeting, Saadat Foumani talked about the implementation method of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan, expressing: preparation of top talents for active presence in work and research areas based on the actual needs of the country is the most important goal of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan. Therefore, therefore, in this project, talented students will put the necessary issues on their agenda and prepare for impact in the community with the guidance of an expert instructor.
The vice president for national elites foundation explained that the goal of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan focuses on elite cores and students, asserting: in 2012, our supreme leader emphasized the formation of elite cores, which led to putting this issue on the agenda of the national elites foundation.
In addition, he considered elite and scientific core formation as the first step toward the realization of knowledge-based economy, adding: more support of research and elite cores will increase community’s dynamism since people can be recognized as the main role-players in the country.
Saadat Foumani continued: to date, three stages of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan project have been performed and its fourth stage is running. It is hoped that the fourth stage yields greater results based on evaluations.
The vice president for science and technology affairs also pointed out that in addition to the recognized elites, there are many other elite groups in the country whose talent and capabilities have yet to be recognized. He also emphasized the necessity of recognition and classification of talents and abilities of people, considering it as an accelerating factor in this regard.
On this part of the meeting, Ali Hossein Saberi, head of the elites foundation in Khuzestan, affirmed: given the number of higher education institutes and occupation of more than 200 thousand students in the province, implementation of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan is a suitable process to empower students and guide them toward the path of solving executive and economic issues.
