According to the information center of national elites foundation, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, participated in the opening ceremony of Khalij Fars Library in Boushehr.
Sattari expressed that one of the methods to promote book reading in the country is developing new and private companies in this field, affirming: basically, the concepts of education in the world are changing, meaning that the time to have elementary, secondary and university education is over. Future education in the world is education until death. An educational structure must be created to be used instead of training courses. This structure is mostly implemented in smart cities that play an important role in the future of the world.
The president of the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter declared: when it comes to smart cities, it basically means a platform that delivers new things to its citizens every day and is delivering these trainings to them. Now, you see shadows of this issue since people wake up to a new app or a new startup every day, which, if used, can train people.
Sattari added: old people use their cellphones to book a hotel room, take a taxi, check their account balance or spend money. All of these lead to the transfer of education to people.
At the end of the ceremony, Sattari donated his grandfather’s book, published in 1957 and republished in 1984 to the library of Boushehr.
