Strengthening the intelligentization of the tax system and developing the knowledge-based ecosystem supporting the tax system in scientific environments
A joint cooperation agreement between the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy and the Tax Affairs Organization was concluded to support the development of knowledge-based economy.
According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, this agreement is in line with the implementation of the measures of the Supreme Leader and the provisions of the People's Government Transformation Document and the policies of the 13th government and the general policies of the 7th Development Plan based on the expansion of the knowledge-based economy, biological development Knowledge-based environment, strengthening smartness and realization of e-government, supporting the growth of knowledge-based production and reforming the administrative structure of organizations with the aim of cooperating in advancing smartness programs based on the knowledge-based economy in line with reforming the administrative structure and processes was concluded between Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Sobhanian, the head of the country's Tax Affairs Organization.
The subject of the aforementioned agreement is mutual cooperation in strengthening the smartness of the tax system and the development of the knowledge-based economy and solving the process and structural challenges of the organization according to the needs and technological capacities in the organization, as well as the development of the knowledge-based ecosystem that strengthens and supports the tax system in scientific and research environments. Also, the use of knowledge-based capacities to strengthen the processes and infrastructures of the tax system's intelligence, the promotion of tax organization's support to knowledge-based companies and technology units, and the development of knowledge-based ecosystems that strengthen the intelligent tax system in the country's scientific and research environments are among other common goals.
In addition, the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the Tax Affairs Organization pledged to determine and allocate the financing of joint projects in the steering committee of the agreement during the period of the agreement.
Developing the processes of making the tax system smarter and strengthening tax technologies, paying attention to solving the basic needs of the organization in the way of making it smarter, strengthening the technological infrastructure of the organization, strengthening the human resources needed for the development of technology and making the organization smarter and developing the knowledge-based ecosystem related to the tax system in the environments and scientific research of the country was announced as one of the main policies of this joint cooperation.
Also, supporting the definition of knowledge-based projects with the aim of meeting the needs of the organization and developing the smartness of the tax system, supporting the formation and management of knowledge-based and technological consortia active in various areas of the tax system, identifying and introducing knowledge-based companies and technology units according to the needs of the organization, supporting the development for the ecosystem of innovation and tax technologies in the scientific-research environments of the country, prioritizing and facilitating the use of legal tools available in the Vice Presidency of Science, especially the tools of the knowledge-based production leap law and the law on the support of knowledge-based companies and institutions and the commercialization of innovations and inventions, for knowledge-based companies active in various areas of the tax system and supporting the formation and growth of new knowledge-based businesses and new technology to operate in various areas of the tax system with the participation of ecosystem elements (accelerator, growth center, innovation factory, etc.), including the obligations of the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and knowledge economy are the basis of this agreement.
Prioritizing and facilitating the granting of tax facilities in the form of tax credits and exemptions for knowledge-based companies active in the organization's projects in accordance with relevant laws, helping to develop the knowledge-based ecosystem of various areas of the tax system in the scientific and research environments of the country, introducing the process and infrastructure needs of the organization In the development of the tax system's smartness, are among the obligations that the Tax Affairs Organization was included in the introduction to knowledge-based companies and the strengthening of technology exchange brokers to prepare requests for technical proposals (RFP) to be submitted to the Vice Presidency of Science.
Referring to the recent meeting with the Supreme Leader and his emphasis on the formation of a technological upsurge, Ruhollah Dehghani said: We need new investments today, and if there is a bright spot in this field, it will be formed from here.
Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Sobhanian expressed his satisfaction with the signed agreement and said: We hope that the cooperation will continue and leave positive effects.
Referring to the change in the functioning of the country's tax ecosystem towards becoming smarter, he acknowledged: the existence of knowledge-based companies can play a positive role for the country's tax affairs organization. Also, we have many needs in the field of tax system that the knowledge-based field can solve them. We want knowledge-based companies to help and identify capacities.
In the end, he added: Considering the serious effort that exists on both sides of the agreement, I believe that the conditions are now ready for intensive meetings to be held and operational work to begin.
