Along with the Fajr Decade;
The Iranian-made industrial enzymes manufacturing factory is opened
The production line of “industrial enzymes” was opened in the country for the first time in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs, the minister of health, the head of the veterinary organization, and the president of the ministry of agriculture-Jahad.
The production line of “industrial enzymes” was opened in the country for the first time in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs, the minister of health, the head of the veterinary organization, and the president of the ministry of agriculture-Jahad.
According to the information center of national elites foundation, the first production line of industrial enzymes made in Iran was opened along with the Fajr Decade.
The production line was opened in the presence of “Bonda Faravar” knowledge-based company, the vice president for science and technology affairs, the minister of health, the head of the veterinary organization, and the president of the ministry of agriculture-Jahad.
During the ceremony, Sattari talked about the abilities of Iranian knowledge-based companies in the biotechnology field, stating: creating an industrial enzyme production line in the country is an exceptional job, and there are very few such factories in the world.
The knowledge-based company has been able to achieve this product without the help of the government and has been a successful model in the development of knowledge-based ecosystem with the help of the private sector.
According to Sattari, import of industrial enzymes imposed huge costs on the country and the import of only one type of enzyme (phytase) has led to foreign currency drain of $30-50 million in the country. Therefore, I believe that this is very unique and necessary for the country.
He continued: the most important issue is developing the technical knowledge and specialized human resources, which is realized with the establishment of the factory. This is a unique field that will be extensively developed in the next years.
The president of the biotechnology development headquarter pointed out that Iran is among the top countries in Asia in terms of biotechnology and has no competitor in this area, adding: meanwhile, the elites of the field recommended us not to enter the field. However, we are glad that we have passed borders and achieved many good achievements.
I hope that the establishment of Bonda Faravar” knowledge-based company” paves the way for the formation of other knowledge-based companies in these areas.
Clear Horizon of Livestock Products Supply with the Help of Knowledge-based Companies
Alireza Rafipour, the president of Iran Veterinary Organization, pointed out the 3% need of the country to micro-nutrient inputs to feed livestock and poultry, stating: 15 million tons of livestock products depend on this 3%. However, this 3% supports the survival of the 97%, which is why it has strategic importance.
He continued: knowledge-based companies can eliminate most of our dependencies in the field of livestock and poultry in the second step of the revolution. More power to the elbow of the youth working in this knowledge-based company, and we hope to be self-sufficient in this area.
Opening the Largest Industrial Enzymes Manufacturing Unit in the Country
The country’s needs in the field of this product will be met by developing the largest manufacturing unit of the enzyme.
Strategic technology for industrial enzyme production is widely used in the dairy, starch and glucose industries, flour and bread, leather and textiles, detergents and livestock and poultry.
Domestication of industrial enzyme production technology in the country will lead to occupation creation, lack of dependency on important products and the staunching of foreign currency drain. With this native technology, all enzymes are produced and delivered in various forms of liquid, powder and granule.
The project was initiated by signing a technical knowledge contract with universities of Shahid Beheshti, Tarbiat Modares, and other valid universities of the country to start the production of the products with the cooperation of biotechnology research centers.
There is a limited number of knowledge-based companies producing this enzyme in the world and the product is recognized as strategic products of the biotechnology field.
