According to the information center of national elites foundation, Milad Sadrkhanlou, the vice-president of the summit, expressed during the press conference of TIM 2020: the summit will be held February 4th-5th, 2020, for which we have attempted to gather investors from across the world to realize the concept of joint investment.
Investment Agreements
The president of the national technomart pointed out the cooperation made with D8 group, stating: despite unilateral sanctions and the media's push for economic incentives for the country and some difficulties, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs has succeeded in inviting investors from eight countries to attend the summit.
According to the head of the technomart, agreements were signed between Iranian companies and foreign investors, which will expand the attraction of foreign investment and international interactions in the field of technology.
D-8 Group
The D8 group was formed as an organization to improve the position of developing countries in the global economy, diversify and create new opportunities in business relations, increase participation in decision-making internationally and provide a better standard of living among eight countries, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
Presence of International Investors
More than 20 companies, including investors, entrepreneurs and foreign business angels from six countries (Pakistan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Lebanon, and India) are now ready to attend the meeting. In total, the Vice-Presidency has defined six side programs for the event.
Specialized Panels
The first part of the meeting will focus on three specialized panels on topics such as joint venture, subtraction and investment insurance. Key panelists and speakers in this segment are investors and heads and representatives of the bold funds of Nigeria, India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Egypt, and Iran.
Startup Stories
Startups from different countries will talk about their experiences with the goal of creating interactions and proposing solutions to solve joint issues in the technology and innovation ecosystem of member countries.
Presentation to Investors
In this section, more than 30 technology companies and startups, domestic and foreign, are ready to present their designs and products.
Introducing Investment Opportunities
This section offers investment opportunities in the four countries of technology: Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt and Iran. This sector can enhance the alignment between investors and those receiving the investment.
Educational Workshops
The summit will include workshops on topics such as valuation of startups and ways to fund technology and innovation companies for the Iranian audience.
B2B Meetings
Along with the meeting, B2B meetings will be held between domestic and foreign investors on the one hand and technology companies and tech startups.
The first round of the event was held at Pardis Technology Park in Iran in 2017.
