According to the information center of national elites foundation, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, initiated the construction process of a 20-thousand-ton unit of needle coke production. Abdolkarim Gavarand, the governor of Bushehr, and Sakineh Almasi, the representative of Asaluyeh in the Islamic consultative assembly, were present in the ceremony.
The project is carried out by Karbon Eksir Kharazmi Co. in an area of two hectares and in the third phase of Takhte Jamshid petrochemical company.
Needle coke has been sanctioned by the US. However, the process of constructing a 20-thousand-ton unit of needle coke in the petrochemical knowledge-based company of Takhte Jamshid is a way to deal with these sanctions.
The needle coke is a special form of oil coke, produced by very complicated technologies. Sattari visited Mobin Petrochemical Co, where the process of implementation and use of electrolyzer cells is carried out by Atieh Pardazan Sharif Knowledge-based company.
Production of Iranian-made Instrument & Service Air Compressor
The activists of Kavosh San’at Toush Co. presented the achievement of “high-speed instrument & service air compressor to Sattari. These compressors are exploited at the second and third phases of South Parks. These compressors are used in the petrochemical and petrochemical industries, and are the first in the country to be fully localized by a local knowledge-based company.
During the visit, Sattari visited “seawater chlorine” unit established by Aban accelerator in the first phase of South Pars Complex.
Aban is the first specialized accelerator in the field of water and energy in oil, gas, and petrochemical industries that has developed this technology.
Sattari also visited the catalysts project of Nouri Petrochemical Aromatic Unit implemented by Eksir Novin Farayand Asia Co.
During the trip, Jam Petrochemical units and activists based in the growth center of technological units of Kangan will be visited by Sattari. In addition, Sattari will talk to the economic activists of Asaluyeh regarding the boosting of production and knowledge-based economy.
