According to the information center of national elites foundation, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, unveiled a “para-cycling” device produced under the supervision of Abas Erfanian, the head of the neural electronic systems Co. and a faculty member at the University of Science and Industry.
He added: this advanced device was manufactured by the efforts of the University of Science and Industry and has improved the country’s ability in the field of neuroscience and technology. Thanks to this device, people with spinal cord injury will be able to stand up and walk.

Today, many of the high-tech equipment needed by the healthcare industry is produced domestically by local specialists.
Regarding the future plans of the Vice-Presidency to introduce other achievements of the health field, he marked: in the near future, we will have a breakthrough on the achievements of scientists in the field of computed tomography, electroshock, hemodialysis, accelerators and many advanced equipment that will soon be on the market.
According to Sattari, a serious move has begun in knowledge-based companies, leading to a self-reliance on basic needs.
Pointing out the technology of para-cycling device, he mentioned: produced by the efforts of the University of Science and Industry, the device has improved the knowledge of neuroscience in the country. With this device, people with spinal cord injury can stand and walk on their own with the help of their muscles.
Sattari continued: the device is more common than the previous Para-walk device, and is also used for spinal cord injuries and complete paralysis, and those with disabilities can perform their daily tasks with the help of the current device.
Sattari also expressed: we have aimed to solve a part of the society’s problem by supporting the production of the device.
In addition, he asserted: production of this device is part of the national technology macro plans, and one billion and 200 million Tomans of financial support has been given to the Vice-Presidency.
