The national technomart of Iran has aimed to hold the eight
startup demo in the education area to attract investment for the related
startups in order to develop the innovation and startup ecosystem of the
country.

According to the public relations and information center of the
Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the challenges of
the innovation and startup ecosystem of the country is lack of investment
attraction opportunities. In the startup demo events, it is aimed to provide an
opportunity for new companies and startups to find investors and an
infrastructure for investors to evaluate the prepared companies with investment
capacity.

The main goal of this event is direct negotiation between idea
owners and startups with investors. This event will be held in two sections of
public (presenting startups) and exclusive (negotiation meetings between
startups and investors).

In a short duration, investors can evaluate startups and assess
the progress of ideas, customer attraction, market volume, sales rate and other
issues after private meetings to express their opinions about investment in
this area. Acceptance of investment is accompanied by further negotiations by
the technomart until reaching the desired result.

This event will be held March 3^rd 2018 in Shahid
Beheshti University in the presence of specialized investors of this field and
education startups (in the area of online education, learning management
system, technology education, next generation schools and study tools) as
investors.

The national technomart of Iran is active by the order of the
higher council of cultural evolution and under the supervision of the
Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs in order to develop the
technology market of the country. To date, 17 regional technomarts have been
established various provinces of the country and one specialized technomart has
been formed in gas industry, presenting services such as marketing of technological
products, helping the transfer of technology and attracting investment for
innovative individuals and companies through their brokers.
