Sorena Sattari announced presenting the report of measures taken to fight corona to the president of Iran by the vice president for science and technology affairs.

According to the information center of national elites foundation,, the vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the telephone follow-up of the president about the measures taken by corona fight committee, adding: in this pursuit, the president was informed of the actions taken in this regard.

Sattari continued: we have followed up affairs related to the field of science and technology to fight coronavirus and produce equipment and medical necessities by knowledge-based companies and using new drugs that are being manufactured.

According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, the scientific committee between the ministry of health and the Vice-Presidency, tens of joint research projects have been defined to this day and their results will be soon reported.

He pointed out the president’s request to quickly identify the virus, adding: he has also emphasized the recognition of effectiveness and function of the virus in different people.

Emphasizing that knowledge-based companies and researchers must be supported in the fight against coronavirus, Sattari marked: serious studies should also be carried out to combat this virus. This work has been started by knowledge-based companies and continues at an accelerated pace.

In a report by Sattari, new therapeutic protocols have been conducted in cooperation with the ministry of health to fight coronavirus. In addition, measures were taken to conduct clinical studies under the supervision of the ministry by obtaining a certificate from the Medical Ethics Committee.
