The need of patients with renal diseases to peritoneal dialysis equipment will be met and effective steps will be taken to help the development of health in the country with unveiling the technical knowledge and producing multilayer films of injectable products and peritoneal dialysis essentials made in Iran by the Vice-Presidency.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, during the travel of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, to Razavi Khorasan province, he attended the ceremony to unveil the technical knowledge and production line of multilayer films of injectable products and peritoneal dialysis essentials, accompanied by Hojatoleslam Valmoslemin Ahmad Marvi, the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi.

 “Progress” Brings Innovation to the Forefront

During the ceremony, the vice president for science and technology affairs considered the booming of the economy of the country to be depending on establishing the necessary ecosystem for knowledge-based companies, asserting: we emphasize the support of knowledge-based companies by large industries and corporations and providing them the market, which is the way to develop the knowledge-based economy.

An innovative approach and a knowledge-based product developed in this collaboration will soon replace conventional market approaches, which provides an opportunity for domestication of products that were formerly owned by few companies.

Sattari mentioned the booming of knowledge-based businesses with the help of large companies and industries, adding: a large market has been created by Samen Darou Co. and domestication of the technology that was imported in the past would help meet the country’s need and bring considerable added value to the country. 

The president of the biotechnology development headquarter considered achievement to be depending on outsourcing technological research to knowledge-based businesses.

According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, more than five thousand knowledge-based companies and thousands of startups have created billion tomans of added value while creating jobs for graduated and creative human resources.

He announced the support of supplying the infrastructure and ecosystem collaboration with knowledge-based businesses and large industries, affirming: more than 60% of export of Iranian knowledge-based products is related to the biotechnology field to meet the needs of dialysis patients.

This knowledge-based achievement is the result of cooperation between Samen Darou Co. and Lafaf Khazar knowledge-based Co. and includes different types of syringe packaging films and other medical equipment.

90% of the need for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis with these products provided and the process of peritoneal dialysis is now well-established within the country.

Production of peritoneal dialysis solutions was in production line and is now in production line with the benefit of native technical knowledge, rest of peritoneal dialysis equipment and needs.
