Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, today, Saturday 22 Bahman, at the same time as the 44th anniversary for the victory of the Islamic Revolution, attended the exhibition of research achievements of Sharif University of Technology in front of the university's entrance, and unveiled the membrane gas sweetening pilot. Rasul Jalili, president of Sharif University of Technology, was also present at this ceremony.

Dehghani said on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony: With the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the greatest achievements in the development of science and technology took place. Years ago, we did not have a prestigious university or scientists with a name or a technological product, but today we have the best and most famous universities and scientists who produce globally competitive technological products, and the achievements of Iranian youth in the field of medicine and health are impressive, as well as in the fields of engineering and defense.

He added: The Islamic Republic of Iran has been very successful in all fields, especially in the field of science and technology, due to the special characteristics of its people, which have been rich in knowledge since ancient times. This program continues in the country until it reaches the scientific authority of the world and our young people bring the country to the top of honor.

In response to the question, how do you see the presence of people in the march, Dehghani said: The enthusiastic presence of people can be seen everywhere. This presence contains two messages, the first message is that people love this country. The second message is that the officials of the country have a duty to serve the loyal people of Islamic Iran and with this hope we will overcome all the problems.

It should be noted that gas membrane separation technology is available to a few limited companies in the world and our country is one of the few countries that has realized the production of this product with the efforts of Sharif University researchers. In the first step, the gas sweetening of Abuzar platform was successfully evaluated using the membrane sweetening pilot. During these tests, the amount of hydrogen sulfide gas decreased from 22,000 ppm to below 2,000 ppm, which is a very good level for the turbine inlet.
