The Vice Presidency of Science will use all its capacities and facilities from financing to software support to help the formation of start-up companies and the development of technological products.

Referring to the special support for the development of new technological products and companies in the field of medical equipment, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy added: the financing of medical equipment is the priority of the Vice Presidency of Science’s follow-up and support measures. Planning will be done so that companies that have successfully completed three quarters of the process of developing technology and manufacturing their products will receive a technological award.

He added: After the announcement of the call by the Vice Presidency of Science and the notification to the activists of this ecosystem, 70 companies in this field announced their readiness. Meetings were held with the top actors of medical equipment and 35 designs were received within a month, which were submitted to the judging process by an expert committee.

Referring to the mother company's support for the new company, Hagh Jooy Javanmard said: Among these supports, we can mention the technological support to directly help the formation of the spin-off company and fair investment in the new company. The parent company becomes the first customer of the spin-off company with the aim of creating financial circulation. Also, the creation and development of the space and infrastructure needed to operate and provide services such as legal, financial, technology, etc. are other supports of the parent company to the spin-off company.

Hagh Jooy stated that after the investigations of the technical committee and numerous meetings with the parent companies, seven companies and their product development plans were selected for support, adding: the fashion companies including Fanavaran Plus active in the field of medical equipment and ultrasound, the top electronics company active in the field of anesthesia machines and the vital signs monitor, Niwad company active in the vaccine field for the production of vaccine consumables, Dahian company with the production of cardiovascular products, Mad Biot Technology company with angioplasty products, Amber Chip company with smart hospital products and Bina Cheshm company in the field of consumer equipment are supported in the way of creating spin-offs and developing their technological projects.

Hagh Jooy said about the financial support of the Vice Presidency of Science for these projects: 133.9 billion Tomans are supported by the Vice Presidency of Science for these projects, and the total value of the products under development is estimated at 138 billion Tomans.
