According to the report of the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge Economy, the "13th National Elites Conference " today, was held in Tehran with the presence of Seyed Ebrahim Raeisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the head of the National Elites Foundation, Seyed Salman Seyed Afghahi, the deputy of the National Elites Foundation and a group of elites and top talents with the slogan "Elites, drivers of progress" and with the aim of familiarizing the elites with the achievements and creating an opportunity for the synergy of the elites and top talents with each other as much as possible.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Dehghani stressed: One of the most basic issues that the president always follows up with me is the affairs of the elites, because the elites are the engines of the country's progress.

He added: "During the past two years, we have tried to implement several transformative programs, such as the program "See with your teacher!". In the form of this program, students visit knowledge-based companies, industries and achievements of domestic experts together with their professors to get to know domestic strengths and developments. Ahmadi Roshan's problem-oriented cores development plan is also one of the other programs in which solving the identified problems is placed on the agenda of professors and students.

Dehghani stated that in the National Elites Foundation, a lot of effort has been made to provide a basis for increasing the effectiveness of the elites in the country in line with the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and said: There are various areas of influence for the elites, which is the plan to attract top and elite talents.

The head of the National Elites Foundation expressed his regret that the foundation has turned into a trade organization that supports a certain group over the past years, and said: The first mistake is to separate the elite from the common people. Elite Foundation should become a policy-making institution in the field of elites, because there are other supporting institutions in the country.

Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, further added: The best way to identify the elites is to identify them by the people themselves, because the identification of the elites is not complete by self-declaration. It is not appropriate to pay attention only to a component like entrance exam, according to statistics, we have at least 700 thousand elites in Iran, of which only 60 thousand have been identified.

In the end, Dehghani said: "I hope today, with the unveiling of the "Danaye Iran" plan, a new arena will be provided to increase the influence of elites at different levels.
