According to the information center of national elites foundation, Afghanistan is a country of high economic potential whose membership in the WTO has shortened the path to attracting foreign investment. Using this economic opportunity for Iran is a good opportunity.
Given that Afghanistan is one of the countries where sanctions can be a good business partner for Iran, developing business and technological relationships with this country would be a good way to market Iranian-based knowledge products and services.
Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs will travel to Afghanistan as the head of a commercial and technological delegation during April 6th-8th, 2020. In addition, the knowledge-based companies attending the trip will develop the market for their products in face-to-face meetings with their counterparts.
This three-day trip will be made by the international affairs & technological exchange center, the Vice-Presidency and Iran national innovation fund.
