Using the scientific power and experience of Iranian experts in knowledge-based companies is one of the goals of implementing the program of cooperating with non-resident Iranians. In addition to using these scientific capacities, this will help the return of Iranian specialists and entrepreneurs. As part of the connect.isti.ir program, more than 300 non-resident Iranians have worked with knowledge-based companies.

According to the information center of national elites foundation,Working in innovative centers and technological companies and accelerators as mentors and counselors is one of the projects for non-resident MSc and PhD graduates and Iranian entrepreneurs.

To date, more than 300 non-resident experts have returned to Iran with the help of the center for international science and technology cooperation.

The non-resident Iranian professors, graduates, experts and entrepreneurs can use this project if they have returned to Iran less than two years ago.

The program of cooperation with non-resident experts and entrepreneurs is one of the prioritized programs of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, which follows goals such as using the scientific capacity of non-resident Iranian experts in scientific, technological and industrial centers, promoting the scientific and professional level of specialized headquarters of the country, and providing a suitable opportunity to develop newly emerged and advanced technologies in the country.

In addition, "providing conditions for the transfer of skills, methods and capabilities of new services by Iranian specialists abroad to the interior" and "helping to establish technology companies in the fields of advanced technology" are other goals achieved by the implementation of this project.
