Alireza Jahantigh, advisor to the vice president of the national elites foundation, stated: given the necessity of using elite abilities in universities and science and research centers of the country and with regard to the constant emphasis of the Supreme Leader and other authorities of the system on this issue, the secretary has acted as a facilitator and accelerator of relevant processes.

Pointing out that the target audience of the recruitment program are top graduates of domestic and foreign universities, he added: the secretary has aimed to recruit capable individuals, whether inside or outside the country, to make them faculty members in universities and science centers in the shortest time possible within the relevant framework.

Jahantigh continued: along with financial supports and research grants, which are among the important activities of the foundation in line with the support of talented young assistant professors, the main emphasis of the secretary is on the timely and complicated process of faculty member recruitment. Therefore, after identifying talented individuals who are recruited from the applicants based on the criteria communicated to the recruitment secretariat, providing the right advice, assisting in locating and directing them to appropriate scientific institutions is on the agenda. Finally, through ongoing engagement with science institutions and ministry recruitment centers, efforts are made to address a variety of potential issues along the way within the framework of regulations.

In this regard, important support-related laws have been confirmed and issued, including time-related facilities outside the time of recruitment calls, possibility of issuing a first-year contract law for individuals aged above 40 years without the permission of the board of trustees, and obligatory evaluation of demand of individuals supported by the foundation in a shorter duration. Also, given the difficulty of obtaining an employment permit, the follow-ups of Sattari, the head of the national elites foundation, have led to permissions for recruitment of individuals supported by the foundation, which is a very important achievement considering the current status of the country. It is a pleasure that all the pillars of the system have a very positive and favorable view of the elite.

Advisor to the vice president for the national elites foundation emphasized the importance of auditing the science and research background of applicants, marking: the files of applicants are assessed in specialized working groups of the foundation, and those with efficient research and education activities are recruited by scientific centers. Taking similar issues into account in all fields, taking into account items such as the number of articles regardless of quality or the average grade of different sections, regardless of the path taken by the individual, can increase the error coefficient of examining the applicants' files. Therefore, the files of applicants are assessed by specialized working groups to introduce the best people in terms of quality of research and science activities for recruitment by universities and science centers.

Pointing out the necessity of maximum use of elite power, Jahantigh declared: government and top universities have recruited a large number of individuals supported by the foundation in the last few years, currently, the recruitment capacity of universities is less than before. Therefore, the national elites foundation has aimed to provide the necessary space for activities and entrepreneurship of elites and top talents in universities so that the scientific growth of Islamic Azad University could be accelerated.

At the end, he pointed out the arrangements made by the vice president for science and technology affairs and the president of the national elites foundation to support the return of Iranian experts to the country, claiming: in this area, two most important and effective measures taken include providing support for post-doctoral students in the country and housing allowance. The purpose of the collection with regard to non-resident recruitment specialists in the scientific institutes of the country has always been that these individuals can continue their scientific and research activities in a relaxed manner during the recruitment process.
