According to the information center of national elites foundation, Mahdi Zeyghami, the manager of the patent office, expressed: we have expanded patent registration in other countries and India and South Korea will be added to the list of countries in this regard.
He continued: this could be a way for technology companies to reach their business goals sooner. Approved knowledge-based companies can also receive 50 percent support for registering a second invention in addition to 90 percent support for their first patent.
According to the report, the patent office will support 90% of international patent registration. To date, the support of the office has led to providing grants for 93 patents in foreign patent offices. Significant steps have also been taken in the field of education and promotion of this field so that intellectual property is considered as an important precondition for the entry of knowledge-based products into international markets.
