The patent registration office of the Vice-Presidency has supported the registration of 52 inventions in international valid patent registration offices to solve the issues of the country in the field of intellectual property, specifically the topic of foreign patent registration.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, innovative ideas take a burden off the shoulders of the society and create a value for entrepreneurs.

Therefore, the patent registration office of the Vice-Presidency has supported 90% of inventions to be registered in valid international offices to increase the pace of the process. To date, 1523 requests have been made by inventors, 252 of which have been approved in the assessment process. In addition, 52 patents have received grants from foreign patent registration offices.

The Patent Office of the Vice President of Science and Technology has deployed a unit focused on the country's intellectual property requirements, and in particular on the subject of foreign patents.

The center was established in 2005 as an intellectual properties unit of the nanotechnology development headquarter and became the patent office of Iran in 2014 with the agreement of the Vice-Presidency to deal with issues related to intellectual properties, especially patent registration.
