“The Information Technology Market of Iraq” is the title of a technological event that will be held for knowledge-based companies and startups with the support of the center for international science and technology cooperation. The main goal of the event is to evaluate and improve the challenges of Iranian startups in Iraq.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, Economic problems, war, and long-term armed conflicts have kept Iraq out of the technology and innovation ecosystem for years. However, Iraq is the world's fifth-largest oil supplier and has joined startup countries for several years, and has become a suitable market for Iranian knowledge-based companies.

The event will feature "Challenges of Iranian Startups in Iraq", "Models of Iranian Competitors in this Ecosystem", "General Conditions of Startups for Presence in Iraq" and "Export Base of Knowledge-based Products in this Country".
