Iranian knowledge-based companies attended the Exhibition for Rebuilding Syria
With the support of the deputy for international affairs and technological exchange, 38 Iranian knowledge-based companies attended the Exhibition for Rebuilding Syria held in Damascus, Syria.
With the support of the deputy for international affairs and technological exchange, 38 Iranian knowledge-based companies attended the Exhibition for Rebuilding Syria held in Damascus, Syria.
According to the information center of national elites foundation,the fifth Exhibition for Rebuilding Syria was held in Damascus, Syria during September 17th-21st, 2019. The exhibition involved various fields such as construction and all related areas, including electricity and energy, renewable energies, water and water purification, oil, gas and petrochemistry, transportation, air and maritime industries and infrastructures (bridge and railway).
In addition, agriculture, food & packaging & related machinery, small & medium industries, lightweight, heavy & spare parts, banking & investment & insurance, hospital & pharmaceutical equipment, heavy machinery, automotive & related equipment, plastic industry, printing & packaging, petrochemical industry, ICT, security systems and fire fighting were other fields of the exhibition.
In total, 390 companies from 31 countries attended the event, 74 of which were Iranian and 38 of these firms were knowledge-based. The knowledge-based Iranian companies attended the event with the support of the deputy for international affairs and technological exchange. Technological advances in regional countries, accelerating need to rebuild economic and industrial infrastructures while boosting productivity and competitiveness have reinforced the two countries' willingness to cooperate in new technologies. The existence of different technologies in the two countries could lead to the development of joint ventures in the region for the creation of large manufacturing and innovative companies in the two countries in order to further the economic growth through production and sale of these products to the growing markets of the region. Building on its capabilities, Iran is striving to build dynamic and constructive relations and cooperation at the regional level and with its allies. This is happening with our presence here and the initiative of the Syrian authorities to hold this business.
The Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs supported the presence of Iranian knowledge-based companies in the Exhibition for Rebuilding Syria with the goal of establishing business relationships between Iranian companies with Syrian parties, businessmen, business companies as well as high tech companies from different countries of the world.
On the second day of the event, Javad Torkabadi, the ambassador of Iran in Syria, and Hassan Danaeifar, head of the economic relations development of Iran with Iraq and Syria, visited the exhibition and pavilion of Iran.
