In another part of the ceremony, Mostafa Ghanei, the secretary of the biotechnology development headquarter, talked about the program for production of 135 prioritized drugs with the highest level of currency drench, adding: some of these drugs have a currency drench of approximately $570 million. The Vice-Presidency has aimed to reduce the drench of $160 billion with the producing of these products by domestic knowledge-based companies. In addition, $155 billion tomans of support of active knowledge-based companies in this area will lay the foundation for energy saving, occupation creation and formation of added value by domestic production.

He also considered granting facilities, venture capitals and support of knowledge-based companies and use of resources of Iran national innovation fund as solutions to support the production process of these products, expressing: to meet the needs of the country with the full coordination of the Food and Drug Administration, the organization has been assisted in facilitating the process of production of such drugs and has so far received 54 billion Tomans of support.
